This year’s student elections will take place between 03^rd of May and 10^th of May 2021.

This year’s student elections to the boards of the university’s faculties, including the Teacher Education Unit and the School of Business and Law, AND to the Student Parliament will take place between 03^rd of May and 10^th of May.

Candidates must register their names with the Student Organization of Agder (STA) no later than 19^th of April 2021. Running is voluntary and if you send in a candidate form on behalf of others, they must have been asked beforehand.

Those elected occupy their positions from 01^st of July 2021 to 30^th of June 2022 in the Student Parliament, and from 01st of August 2021 to 31^st of July 2022 in the faculty boards/board of the teacher education unit. You will find information about how to stand for election and the candidate form at www.stastudent/valg.

Important dates:

• 08^th of March – 19^th of April: Candidates must come forward and enter their names.
• 19^th of April, 2 pm.: Last chance to make a complaint if you are not registered on the election roll.
• 03^rd of May, 10 am – 10^th of May, 2 pm.: The election period. The election will be carried out electronically. Voting period, all students at UiA cast their vote.

Voting is carried out electronically in the period spanning 03^rd of May, 10 am – 10^th of May, 2 pm. You enter the voting room directly here: https://valg.usit.no/valg/login.do , or by way of STA’s internet pages here: https://stastudent.no/

NB: In order to vote you must be a registered student registered on the election roll (manntallet).
If you are not registered on the election roll, you will not be able to vote.  You are yourself responsible to check if your name is on the election roll. You can do this until 19^th of April, 2 pm. You check your election roll registration in the voting room.
