Stille til valg? Her er oversikt over hvilke verv DU kan stille til!

Are you one of the new memebers of the STA-board? Arer you the one that will bring the student voice to the University board? Or maybe you are one of the student representatves in STAs international committee? Then you should submit your candidature!

With this, STA announces the election for boards and committees in STA and on UiA. If you want to stand for election, please contact STA at sta@uia.no. All positions will start on August the 01st and end at 31st of July, except for the STA-board (01.07-30.06) her

If you are running for any positioins in the STA-board or in the university-board you have to submit your CV as well as a candidate form. Send the CV to sta@uia.no.

The deadline for submitting your candidature and be guaranteed an interview by the election committee is 23rd of April 2025. You can submit your candidature also after the 23rd if April, but then you are not guaranteed an intreview. The election will take place at the election meeting the 7th of May.

There are many different positions that you can run for, some of which are also paid. The different positions vary in expected workload and time use. Some of the positions have 1-2 meetings a years, whereas others have a meeting a month. All the positions in the STA-board have weekly meetings. If you have any questions about any of this you can email STA at sta@uia.no.

NB! Both the election rules of STA and UiA states that all students running for election mus be registered as students at UiA during the period they are elected for. This means that you have to be a registered student from 01.08.25 to 31.07.26. The only exception to this rule are students running for STAs international committee, where also exchange students can run for election.

• Chairperson is elected for a payed position. The position will be remunerated as a 100% position

• Deputy President is elected for a payed position. The position will be remunerated as a 100% position

• Officer of the learning environment er valgt inn i et lønnet verv. Vervet godtgjøres som en 50 % stilling

• Utdanningspolitisk ansvarlig er valgt inn i et lønnet verv. Vervet godtgjøres som en 50 % stilling

• Officer of diversity er valgt inn i et lønnet verv. Vervet godtgjøres som en 50 % stilling
