AT THE STUDENT PARLIAMENT MEETING ON THE 20th OF JANUARY 2025, THE STUDENT PARLIAMENT WILL BE ELCTING STUDENTS FOR THESE POSITIONS:

Delegation to the National Union of Students in Norway`s national meeting. The annual meeting is the supreme executive body of the Norwegian student organisation.  

The Student Parliament shall elect 7 regular representatives and 8 vice representatives.

The meeting is being held 28-30 of March 2025 in Tønsberg. There will also be a pre-meeting held in Tønsberg on 27th of March 2025, which all delegates are recommended to attend.

20th of November 2024 the Student Parliament passed the following mandate that all the representatives of the delegation must follow:

• Both regular and vice representatives commit to familiarise themselves with the cases that shall be treated at the national meeting.
• The delegation shall undertake at least four (4) internal pre-meetings before the national meeting.
• Both regular and vice representatives must commit to participate at the internal pre-meetings. With 2 invalid absences the leader of the delegation, in cooperation with the STA-board, deprive the representative of the position.
• The delegation shall, as far as possible, participate at the national pre-meeting before the national meeting.
• The delegation shall constitute their own leader of the delegation. The leader shall be one of the regular representatives.
• The delegation`s viewpoints shall reflect STA`s policies.

The deadline for standing for election and being interviewed by STAs Election committee is Wednesday the 08th of January 2025. You can find the candidate form here here.
